Assist the Admissions team in preparing the Junior School Great Hall for the New Parent Night event. Your responsibilities will include setting up tables with glasses, napkins, cutlery, water pitchers, and flowers. This is an indoor role, so please dress in casual attire.

Sets up the registration table before golfers arrive. As guests check-in, you will greet them and provide them with their golfer gift and goody bag, as well as important materials for the day (i.e. scorecards, rules, etc). Some volunteers will be assigned to sell Activity Booklets or Wine Raffle tickets, it will be very helpful if you have cellular data so we can set you up to take Square app payments. You should have a good understanding of the timeline of the event so that you can answer general questions. You should also be comfortable promoting sales of various items. You will be offered a complimentary BBQ Lunch ticket to be enjoyed after your shift.

Assist in taking down several 10x10 pop-up tents and bringing them into the Pro Shop, ready for pick-up. You will be offered a complimentary buffet dinner (a $75 value)!

Checks in volunteers and sponsors, assists with volunteer & sponsor questions. You will be offered a complimentary BBQ Lunch ticket.

Helps to ensure that the registration areas and golf course is completely set up and ready to go, in time for the shotgun start. This may include placing signage, moving tables or chairs, etc. Experience driving a golf cart is an asset! You will be offered a complimentary BBQ Lunch Ticket.

Clerical volunteers are 'on-call' for occasional administrative support opportunities at the school. For example, labeling yearbooks, stuffing envelopes, folding, printing, laminating etc. The opportunities are typically during the day and only take 2-4 hours to complete. If you sign-up for this opportunity, you will be contacted for your availability when a specific job is identified.

Volunteers meet bi-weekly to manage items in Lost and Found. They are sorted, hung up, and if labeled, distributed to the student to be reclaimed. Unclaimed items are displayed once a month in the Alan Brown Great Hall, and if not claimed should be bagged and removed (either sent to a charity (annually) or sold at or sold at the school's uniform sale. 4-8 parents share this job and usually rotate. The distribution of the tasks and day/time is flexible but needs a school year-round commitment.

Volunteers will work together to decorate the Senior School Reception Desk for special occasions throughout the year. They may work as a group, in teams of two or singularly (dividing up the occasions as they see fit) and a two-year commitment is preferred. The decorating can be done on a flexible schedule during appropriate hours while students are either in class or off campus; however, not during peak times (i.e. morning attendance, recess or lunch breaks, pick-up).

The decorations should be simple, welcoming and child-friendly. Volunteers are responsible for providing their own decorations and/or may borrow items already present at the school (which may be limited).

There are nine occasions identified as decorating opportunities (along with the approximate month they occur in): Back to School (September), Halloween (October), Diwali (November), Holiday (December), Lunar New Year (January), Valentines Day (February), Easter (March/April), Springtime (May), Happy Summer (June).
