If you are looking to volunteer your time but are not available to volunteer during daytime hours, this opportunity is perfect for you. Staff Meeting Snack Volunteers (formally known as Baking Volunteers) commits to providing snacks preferably 3-4 times per year, but it is permissible to volunteer only once or twice (we understand, life is busy, and it is hard to commit in advance).
On your day, we ask that you bring 2 dozen goodies (or equivalent size servings). For Junior School contributions, please deliver your snack items to the Junior School front desk/reception with items marked ‘Staff Snacks’ by 8:30 am for their Friday Staff Meeting. Please make sure that your containers have your name on them. You are responsible for collecting your containers.
A couple of things to note:
- Your snack contribution does not have to be home-made.
- Your snack contribution can be anything: Baked goods like cookies, muffins, scones, tarts, loaves, or other snack items like fruit, veggies, chips/dip, sweets, savories, etc. You can be as creative as you would like.
- We ask that any baking/snacks be nut-free to reinforce nut allergy awareness in the school.
